I love what I do. This is my new Kavyar page and I will be operating it with my own standards.
I could give you a ChatGPT generated photographer bio like many do that sounds professional, but I'd rather shoot from the hip and keep it real.
We all have our own styles. thats what makes us, US. I love shooting and I love everyones work, as it reflects who they are and their creative journey. That doesnt mean I am a people pleaser. I love to work on passion projects and experiments. No, I dont claim to have mastered photography, and I dont want to because I see the arrogance it brings out of photographers who think they are the best.
Here are some guidelines I am operating with:
1. I only give credit if the individual would like credit. If you see an image of yourself and want credit, then reach out to me on here or Instagram to add it. Same for if you'd like the image removed. I've taken over 100k pictures. Deleting some doesn't hurt anymore.
2. No Retouchers! I am not interested. You will be blocked if this is ignored.
3. As someone who used to indulge in them, No vanity magazine offers. They are a waste of money and do not help with reach whatsoever. They just look nice on instagram. Again, you will be blocked if this is ignored.
4. I can do free work, but that free work will be used for my personal marketing. That means I will use it on social media and my own personal website. You have no rights to tell me how I can use the work and you cannot tell me to delete the images and RAWs after I sent you the finals. Of course I would never do anything malicious.
5. This is an important one. If you follow me on Instagram, support is everything. I always give support to those I follow. I also audit activity. If you're not supporting mutually, then high chance I'm gonna either remove all support I gave, then unfollow and remove you as a follower, or just straight up block you.
I've worked with many and have seen how many in this industry use and abuse others. I simply don't tolerate it anymore. So you'll either get an amazing supporter, photographer and friend, or someone who will always tell you no, even for paid opportunities.
